Tonight I decided to go ahead and install the RTM version of Office 2007. I uninstalled Beta 2 TR and ran the RTM installer only to receive this error message:
"Setup is unable to proceed due to the following error(s):
The 2007 Microsoft Office system does not support upgrading from a prerelease version of the 2007 Microsoft Office system. You must first uninstall any prerelease versions of the 2007 Microsoft Office system products and associated technologies.
Correct the issue(s) listed above and re-run setup."

I deleted all obvious files related to Office12 that I could find in the file system. I also deleted all Registry keys I could find. No luck.

My issue was left over installers for the various proofing languages. If you are trying to install RTM after running the betas on your system you will need this KB article.
