I am one of those persons who has 25 apps running at the same time. I always have multiple instances of Explorer, VS, Office docs, and other apps running at all times. The one app I never close and I frequently visit is Outlook.

Good news! Project 2010 supports custom task panes! Bad News! Getting one to appear in a Project 2010 is not so obvious. Good News! It’s a lot easier than I make it sound. The Office 2010 Developer Training Kit requires a development environment to give you the full impact of the development experience which includes SharePoint 2010. There are many ways to go about setting up a Virtual Machine (VM) x-64 environment from using Windows Virtual Server 2005 R2 SP1 (x64) to running a VM under Hyper-V on Windows Server 2008/R2 or on Windows 7.
